Central Athletics programme for the weekend ending 28 August 2016


Saturday 27 August – Option 1 Rondebosch Common Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 8:00am – Other Parkruns nearby Constantia Greenbelt (6.6km), Century City (8.4km), Greenpoint (9km), Bellville (15.7km), Big Bay (18.7km), Fish Hoek (19.5km), Durbanville (21.8km)

Option 2 – Wietse se Run Time: 5h30 “LONG RUN” – 6 / 12 / 20 or 28 km
Venue: Willowbridge (Opposite Tyger Valley) – Bellville Cost: R20-00 [Coke, Cream Soda, & water every 3km] Remember to bring R6-00 for parking (swipe your card at Dis-Chem or Pick n Pay for discount)

Option 3 – LSD – Distance 27km at 7 – 8min per km – start 07:00 Lakeside Pick ’n Pay – contact Neezaam on 0822681060

Sunday 28 August – Option 1 – Khayelitsha 10 km League Race – start at 07:30

Option 2 – Central Official Club LSD
Parking Area Opposite Point Virgin Active next to Green Point Park Entrance in the direction of Suikerbossie – starting at 06:30. Approximately 3 hours easy run. There will be three groups starting at the same place. The idea is to run for time not distance. So we will turn around after 1 hour and 30 minutes and al finish more or less at the same time.
